Privacy Policy — Wrong is Right
Last updated: May 8, 2026
Who we are
Wrong is Right is a trivia game developed by Bharat Patodi. Questions about this policy can be sent to pyoopel@gmail.com.
What we collect and why
Playing anonymously
You can play the full game without creating an account. In this mode:
- A random anonymous user ID is generated and stored on your device.
- Your username and avatar (emoji) are stored locally on your device.
- Your game stats, scores, and session history are stored locally on your device and synced to our servers (Supabase) so your progress is not lost if you reinstall.
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or location when you play anonymously.
Leaderboards
If you participate in the daily challenge leaderboard, your chosen username and score are visible to other players. Your anonymous user ID is used to associate your score with your profile — it is never displayed publicly.
Upgrading to a named account
You may optionally upgrade your anonymous account by signing in with an email address. If you do:
- Your email address is collected and stored securely via Supabase Auth.
- It is used only for account recovery (OTP sign-in) and to link your profile across devices.
- We do not send marketing emails.
Multiplayer
If you use challenge or 1v1 multiplayer modes, your username, avatar, and in-match answers are shared with your opponent during the session. Completed match results are stored on our servers.
What we do not collect
- Real name
- Phone number
- Location or GPS data
- Camera or microphone access
- Contacts
- Device advertising identifiers
- Browsing history
