Increasing Your Profits
Let's buy and sell larger number of shares.
Let's buy 100 shares for 100 rupees. Then let's sell these 100 shares for 110 rupees.
To calculate the overall profit, we first calculate the profit on sale of 1 share.
Our profit on sale of 1 share is 110 - 100 = 10 rupees.
Then we multiply this profit by the number of shares sold.
Since, we sold 100 shares, our total profit is 100 × 10 = 1000 rupees.
Let's buy 100 shares for 120 rupees. Then let's sell these 120 shares for 180 rupees.
(180 - 120) × 100 = 6000 rupees
